Your calm and relaxed mannerism in which you treated the kids (many of whom were barely 4, and some 3 years old), was very approachable to them.  I'm glad you didn't use a loud scary voice, since that would have made the kids scared.  They were very at ease with you.  Today at my work, parents of the kids were coming up to me, telling me what a wonderful time their kids had, and how much they enjoyed holding the birds.

I wanted to share with you my experience of Captain Jack at my son's 4th birthday party since I was beyond grateful for the wonderful act done throughout the event!

 

From the moment the pirate stepped into my house until the end, it was a phenomenal birthday celebration!  I tell you, this pirate was amazingly GOOD!  I initially requested a Spanish speaking pirate and we weren't sure how good the speaking skills were but when he got there, we were all blown away with his Spanish speaking skills!  If I had a choice, I would request the same pirate for all my pirate parties because he was a true actor in the making.  When my son first saw the pirate, he got scared and I thought, OH NO! What a huge mistake this was. 

 

I WAS BLOWN AWAY how smoothly the pirate gained my son's confidence and he truly ended up enjoying his birthday celebration with the pirate!  The pirate moved-in very  nicely and spoke to my son with kind words.  The cutest part was when the pirate encouraged my son to smile and the pirate nicely pointed to his mouth and helped him smile!  I caught all of it on camera!  It was truly an amazing experience with this one of a kind pirate. 

 

My son joined the pirate on a treasure chest hunt along with his cousins and every kid had a one-on-one pirate fight with a sword!  The pirate also stood around for family pictures and the cutting of the cake!  Viewing back at the pictures, I got to give it to him, he posed differently in each picture!  Everything will now be a fun filled memory BUT all caught on video and pictures!  LOVED IT!!!  and I wouldn't think twice about hiring the Spanish speaking pirate!
